2). LOCATE: Try to find a quiet place that is easily accessible. It can be under a tree in your backyard, on a porch, or somewhere closer to nature like a beach, stream, or meadow. The more quiet and peaceful the setting, the easier you will find it to focus. If you live in a colder climate like me, you will likely not have that option. Don’t worry; meditating indoors is just as effective. Again, just try to find a quiet place to which you have regular access. A study, bedroom, closet, or even a parked car can provide an adequate space. Feel free to get creative: light some candles or incense, turn the lights off; whatever helps you feel more calm and relaxed.
